For Classic Car and Grand Prix racing fans, one of France’s top motor museums is located nearby. The Musee de l’Automobile is just off the A8 Autoroute about 3km from Mougins and houses a large number of classic and racing cars including Ferraris and Bugattis.

And if you have the energy to venture further afield, other hilltop villages - Fayence, Seillans, Caillan, Tourettes and Montauroux, all of which merit exploring, Nice and the famous Promenade des Anglais amongst a host of other things, the Casino at Monaco, the “Venice of the Riviera” – Port Grimaud, Cap D’Antibes, Juan les Pins, Eze…. Or you can just eat fantastic food.

Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild
Built on the narrowest part of the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat promontory, this sumptuous palazzo and garden is the only great house open to the public on the Riviera. Open daily from 4th February- 2nd November, 10.00-18.00, 19.00 in July and August, between Nice and Monaco via the Basse Corniche (N98)

A great drive: From Grasse to Vence: Take the D2210 through some of the most luxuriant countryside along the French Riviera. Take in the sights of Point-du-Loup with a panorama of waterfalls and views of the Gorges du Loup; the picturesque village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup; and complete your trip in Vence with a visit to the Matisse chapel.

Cannes to St Tropez by Boat
Jump aboard a boat from Cannes to St Tropez. As you enjoy the crossing to St Tropez admire the Mediterranean coast from the sea.

It's a beautiful boat ride and a must-see while in the French Riviera! The ferry crossing is 1 hour 15 minutes, with the entire day yours to explore St Tropez. Discover the provencal markets every Tuesday and Saturday. Many local ferry operators, but try Trans Cote d' Azur Cannes Office, located at Quai Laubeuf (at the end of the Car Park Laubeuf). The boat departs at 10:15am and returns to Cannes at 5:45pm and you must be at the departure point in St Tropez no later than 4:30pm.
