The house is surrounded by colourful oleander, and the front garden has ancient pines, flower beds, a wall of fragrant white jasmine, and rosemary hedges. There is hard standing space for cars.
At the rear of the villa, leading directly off the sun terraces is a fabulous 12x 6 m freeform infinity pool looking out across the magnificent views to the forest and the sea. The pool faces south and east, and the area is drenched in sun until the evening. It has a gently sloping access, making it ideal for small children to splash around in the shallows.
At the other end of the garden is a spacious patio for dining al fresco. There is a large rectangular dining table seating 10-12 and a new stainless steel four burner gas BBQ with additional hob burner, all under a canopy to protect you from the mid-day sun. Additional tables and seating are on the covered terrace outside the kitchen for your early morning coffee and croissants!
The top lawn is mostly flat, and mostly laid to grass, so plenty of room to kick a ball around if you have the energy! If you don't, we have a proper boules pitch, 12.5m x 4m, so you can while away those warm summer nights with a few games of boules.
There are wide steps from the top lawn down to an acre of lower stone-walled terraces, where there are fragrant mimosa trees in the spring time, as well as two delicious fig trees – guests are more than welcome to help themselves to fruit in season. The old terraces form a natural garden and are left untended, and abut the common conservation land of the forest of Peygros.
